About Me.
I’m an experienced industrial gases industry executive and hydrogen expert, digital transformation leader, with a diverse commercial, supply chain, operational excellence and functional background. Through my consultancy, I embrace opportunities to support, advise and collaborate with individuals, start up companies, large corporations and educational institutions across the world. I’m based in West Sussex in the UK.

Director/Principal Consultant - Boocock Advisory Ltd
Following retirement from Air Products, developed a bespoke consulting practice working in areas such as; technical and commercial aspects of industrial gases; technology commercialisation; the energy transition; application of artificial intelligence and machine learning in business; mentoring.
In Oct 2022 I was appointed to Industrial Chair in Engineering Leadership, College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. A part-time role, it is focused on Enterprise, Engagement and Impact, enhancing connections between academia, enterprise and government as well as mentoring of faculty and students
My corporate career was spent primarily at Air Products & Chemicals Inc., a world leading industrial gases company, starting in 1982. I gained experience in almost every aspect of the industrial gases and hydrogen value chain from Research & Development, through process and process controls engineering, construction, start-up, operations and business development and business management. I led, developed, and implemented significant strategic global investment and transformation programmes, both as a C-Suite executive business leader and Chief Information Officer. I have particularly deep experience in large-asset-based business development in the Middle East and India.
